You just had a flu shot last year and you didn’t get the flu. So do you really need to get one this year, too? Isn’t that just overkill? The flu virus changes every year, and so do the vaccines against them.

The Laboratory is open only for same-day appointments. If a patient desires to get labs prior to their appointment please contact the office via email which is preferred or call and leave a message for a slip to be given for another laboratory.

About Dr. Bolling
Dr. Kimberly L. Bolling is a native of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. She excelled at James Madison University where she completed her undergraduate studies majoring in Biology/Pre-Medicine. She successfully obtained her medical degree and completed her internship/residency training at the prestigious University of Maryland in Baltimore in 2001. She became Board Certified in Internal Medicine also in 2001. She is the sole owner of her medical practice called Metropolitan Medical Group, located in Bowie, MD, which is a state of the art medical facility which focuses on delivering high quality individualized care, since 2004.
Her clinical exposure has expanded a wide spectrum of clinical entities from dealing with the management of diabetes, to hypertension, congestive heart failure, and various autoimmune disorders. Her areas of special interest include the above and dealing with the issues of obesity and its clinical impact on various healthcare related issues. Dr. Bolling's philosophy is aimed to help emphasize the importance of promoting a lifelong commitment to a healthier way of living.
Dr. Bolling has dedicated her life to volunteerism, not only locally but abroad as well. She has completed medical missionary trips to Kenya, and Guyana. The medical clinics were able to deliver healthcare and medicine to thousands of patients while also worshipping with fellow Christians. She was also part of the initiative called Shoes for Salawa, in Kenya. This project delivered gently used shoes to those in need abroad.
She has started a nonprofit organization called HUGS,LLC, Helping the Underserved Get Financial Assistance for Seniors. Its mission is designed to help reduce financial barriers for seniors. The aim is to help facilitate and allocate money not otherwise available to seniors related to health care costs such as payment for prescriptions and other medically related costs. The endpoint is to improve the overall quality of life for seniors thru compliance, essentially reducing barriers to healthcare.
She is also a member of the Community Outreach Committee of the Bowie of the City Council. She also has a second business dedicated to losing and maintaining successful weight loss for life called A Why Weight Loss Medical Center. She is affiliated with Anne Arundel Medical Center. She has been recently asked to serve on one of their Boards and has accepted. She is married to a wonderful husband and although she does not have any children, her patients are her extended family. She has been a faithful and obedient member of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden since the 1990s.
